Our lot is near the town centre and always has cars on it. Can you still stripe it?

Usually yes. The older lots around the centre are small with tight turning room and no overflow, so the answer is sectioning rather than a bigger crew: we cone off a portion, work it, and move across as each part is walk-on dry. Where a lot genuinely cannot give up any space during trading hours, an evening or weekend slot is the cleaner option.

The stalls on our newer lot drift out of line towards the far end. Why does that happen?

Almost always because the layout was copied off the previous faded lines instead of measured. On a large lot a small error at one end multiplies down a long run, and each re-stripe done by eye inherits and adds to it. The fix is to set the layout out from scratch with a measured baseline rather than following what is already on the ground.
